: hi. i am a 17 year old female and i recently had the carpal tunnel operation on my right arm. they made incisions on my palm, my wrist, my forearm, and my bicep. they are planning on doing the operation to my left hand if it works. my pain started about a year ago and the doctors don't know how i got it at such a young age. i tried physical therapy and cortizone shots but nothing worked. i still have the stitches in from my surgery and i am scared that this won't work either. i just want some information on if the surgery has a good outcome, and if there are any other options for me. i appreciate the help!

I never heard of them making such a big cut?????? I had the surgery done on both of my hands and the cut was the lower part of my palm and alittle on my wrist. In fact, one hand the cut was right on one of the lines and faded in nicely. I hope you are doing good from it. I found it to be very helpful and had immediate relief from the burning i had. It will take up to a year though to see if it truly worked. I wish you luck......
