HI! I have had surgery on my hands for ctr 3 times over the last 9 yrs. It was work related, and I didn't realize what the pain was, by the time I had surgery, it was too late, it keeps coming back after surgery,I can't work, and if you need surgery, I urge you not to wait like I did, or the damage is iriversible. The surgery rehab is about 6 weeks, it hurts, but if it helps it's worth it. Good Luck, Mary
