: A note to all those considering surgery...
: I was 2 weeks from surgery due to mod-severe carpal tunnel, as evidenced by the nerve conduction test on my right hand. Being a busy mom and not wanting to sacrifice 6 weeks recovery, I tried a book by Sharon Butler about treating carpal tunnel. She gives several stretching techniques to try to open the tunnel and stretch out the connective tissue in the area. Within one day, the pain was noticeably gone, and by doing these stretches 2x/day, I can do anything I want to do with my hands. No more numbness, no more pain, no more sleepless nights, no more brace. It is worth a try!!!!
