need alternatives for severe cts pain

Have tried cortisone shots, oral meds, pain meds, and splint with no relief. Need feedback from anyone who has had success with other alternatives. Not really wanting to try surgery as I have heard it doesn't really work.

Pain and numbness is so severe, would like to just cut off my hand.

Please help with any advice.
