I work with a 20-year-old male student with severe CP. He sometimes laughs at inappropriate times - like when I'm reading something sad or trying to teach something serious. I have two questions: 1) How much control to people with CP have over this?, and 2) If they have little or no control over it, are there preventative measures that my student can use?
