I just spent a year in hospital for I bilateral hip reconstruction at the age of 49. When I was 10, I discovered that both hips were dislocation. At that time they didn't know how to put the hips back in place without the muscles stiffening up.

Since my hips have been reconstructed my legs and feet have had to be realigned through physiotherapy. I now need custom made boots to realign my feet. I am finding that the Ontario Government will not pay for the long-term physiotherapy or for the proper orthotics I need to walk again.
