Dear Dawn,
Hi, I have a eight year old with CP and we have been getting the Botox since Feb of this year and it has been a blessing to us. My son legs were so stiff that he couldn't walk with out his legs turning in and he was on his toes. Now after three injection he is walking with is legs straight and his toes down. He still uses his walker but with less effort. The thearpy is intence but it is well worth it. I got a lot of my information of the internet.
Best of Luck.
And let me know what you find out.
Sincerly

: Recently I came across an injection with the abbreviated medical name of 'Boetox.' Apparently it is used to relax the leg muscles in people with severe cerebral-palsy (CP). After a period of time, the user is able to walk to some degree.
: What I am looking for is the name of the developer. I think his name is Dr Gavin Deaguar. I cannot give you any more information as I haveno more to give. Why I would like his name is to find out more about the full potential of this drug and how safe it is to use; and from what age a patient should be injected with it.
: If anyone out there has any information, no matter how trivial, please let me know.
: Best regards,
