: Hi Ryan,
: My name is Robin and I spastic/hemi plegic cp. When I was a kid my doctor was considering doing a operation to release the tendons in my heel cords but the doctor told my parents it might possibly make me weaker and I may not be able to stand, so they decided against it. Be very careful when you make your decision, look at the pros and cons of the operations. Good Luck.

Hi my name is Michael. I am 17.I had hamstring lengthning surgery when I was 12. At first I lost all my mobility. For 6 weeks I went to in hospital physical therapy and I gained it all back and more. I couldn't walk with out an aide but now I can almost walk with out a walker. At first it is painful but it is worth it.
