: : I dont know what the stats are but most people with CP that I know reach normal heights. For myself though
I am much shorter than average. I have spastic diplegia bordering on quadraplegia and have used a chair most of
my life. I am only 4'7" tall with small hands and small feet. I wear childrens shoes still even though I am 24.
Nobody has ever really discussed it but my personal theory is that I was a very small premie and that compounded with musles pulling
enough to cause bone contractures limited my full bone growth.
I wouldnt worry about it to much. I joke about my elf nature and its really the least of my problems as far as living
idependantly with CP. I understand your need for info though but thats the best I can do.

Erika
