To Katie,
My son was diagnosed with CP about 6 months ago and is also very mild. His speech is the farthest behind in his developement. He also has some orthopeditic problems. We have been involved with a program through our state that is helping him. He goes to school once a week and his in-home therapist comes once a week. We have decided to teach him sign language, and it is working very well. He is almost two and can sign about 6 words and it has helped with aour frustration levels. Everything can be very confusing when you are not sure where to go and what resources to seek out. If you would like to talk. Please just e-mail me .
