Hello I have a 5yr old with Autism and CP. When I was pregnant I got pneumonia and was very sick! He stopped moving and doctors would'nt listen to me ! This was my third child . When he was born his cord was around his neck . He required oxygen . I knew something was wrong ...so finally at 11 months he was seen by a neurologist and was diagnosed. I was told he would probably never walk ... Praise the Lord it took 4 years but he did!!!!! He still does'nt talk,, he has autism too ,,, that is the hard part he would always rock back and forth when he was younger,,,, was finally diagnosed at 3 with Autism ,,,, now he hurts himself ( self-injurous behavior) ,,, it has been very hard lately but I have to remember where he has come from ( a long way) ... At 2 weeks he was hospitalized and we almost lost him ,,,,, Just remember no matter how bad it may seem someone else always is worse off ..... we just have to encourage one another ,,, email me if you would like sweetgapeach74@aol.com God bless
