your story was wonderful. i have a son who is just 6 1/2 and wonder how his life is going to turn out.. he is active in so many things and he couldnt walk till he was a little over 2.. but things have changed and he is learning to write read and all the things a kindergartner does .. he has never been treated diffrently and has been in school since he was 3yrs old ..and has adapted well .. he can walk npw but his gait and balance is off.. we go to the doctor next week to see about heel cord legthening .. so scarey for me ... but i would like to know how u coped and all growing up... since u r older i believe things and times have changed and people with disabilities are more accepted now .. if u could feel free to responde back thank u for ur time....
