Does anyone have any experience with or information on the effectiveness of Chiropractors with children that have CP?

My daughter is 4 years old and has mild C.P with Spastic Diplegia.

I recently started going to a Chiropractor for my back. It has really helped. I'm able to jog again.

I took my daughter in with me one time and he
(the Chiropractor) found out that my daughter has mild C.P. He's been trying to get me to bring her in for an evaluation (but he has not been pushy about it), because he said that C.P kids usually have certain problems in their necks that need adjusting that would help her tremendously.

I don't doubt his abilities, but I do doubt his experience with spastic diplegia. I'm worried about what effect the spastic diplegia would have on the adjustments to her spine.

Like all of us, I want to do the best thing for my daughter. I think she is doing very well right now. She is walking, but she falls a lot. She is in a developmental preschool for Physically impaired kids, she gets p.t and o.t. (she is very bright), she does horse back riding and swimming and she is very happy.

I am terrified to let him touch her because I would be devastated if he damaged her spine. But at the same time I'm wondering if I am keeping her from something that would help her tremendously.

I need more information.

Please Help.
