Hi Jennifer,
I am 41 with mild CP and I took three years of voice lessons back in the early 90's and only stopped
because I moved across country. Recently, I started to take lessons again. The one thing I have to do is
sit during the lessons, and because I am short I sit on a low bench instead of a chair.
Both my voice teachers have been wonderful. My first used a technique called the Blaylock Method and my current
teacher does traditioanl Bel Canto (sp?). Both have worked well for me. When we need to adapt or a
djust somenting, we do. It's hard to explain. I suggest that you meet the student and see
how she does and go from there. Best of luck.
