:TAKE HIM TO A WELFARE DEPT AND GET A MEDICAL CARD FOR HIM THEN TAKE HIM TO A NEUROLOGIST FOR A DIAGNOSIS. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT IDEA TAKE HIM TO A COUNTY HOSPITAL THEY CAN NOT TURN YOU AWAY. GET A DIAGNOSIS. HE MUST BE SAD. IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE HE HAS ANY CONTROL OVEER THIS SITUATION. GET HIM HELP. THEY CANNOT TURN YOU AWAY. D KOOKEN I have a 28 year old brother who has had several problems all his life. For some reason or another, my parents never persued a diagnoses when he was young.(military health care issues) He has always protected his left side and held his hand funny occasionally, has a catract in one of his eyes since birth, and has several learning disabilities. He gets fired or quits every job he has had after a few months. My mom said that he had a seizure when he was newborn and I know she had some problems with him during and after birth. I am thinking that he may have CP or something similar. We would like to get a proper diagnosis, but health insurance is a problem. Does this sound like CP, or am I really off base with my thoughts? I would appreciate any feedback on this. I really want my brother to get the help he needs.
