My daughter has cp. she is 4 years old and was diagnosed at 10 months with cp. we have tried botox with little sucesses. she is taking oral baclofen and it works wonders. now the Dr.'s are suggesting the pump. she is 42 inches tall and wieghs 40lbs. she has walks with a walker and uses a wheelchair used for long distances. I am wondering about the baclofen pump procedure...how long it lasts?...how long the hospital stay is?... and most importantly how painfull it is. I would also love to know the laws on what state run daycares are reqired to do( by law) to accomidate to special children.
any info would be helpful.
