Hi, my name is Kirstin and I am a final year physiotherapy student in South Africa. Next year I hope to work in a school for the physically disabled in Zimbabwe.
I would like to set up some support groups for the kids, educational workshops for the parents as well as fun activities and sports for the children. I am most interested in getting the teenagers involved.
I would really love to hear from anyone as to their experiences at school or as a parent, any ideas or suggestions anyone might have etc.
Even if I could get to know some CP teenagers - that would be great.
