I have mild cerebral palsy, and I think that your ideas are great! I think kids will love support
groups and sports. I volunteer with a friend, who teaches adaptive swimming. This is a blast for
me, as well as for the kids. I think it would be neat to have intramurals or sports teams for individuals
with c.p. at school, same as the other kids. I did not have any fun activities/support groups at
school when I was a kid. My suggestions for getting sports programs
started is to look at magazines for teaching students with special needs. Good luck!
