Hi, My name is Karen I have a child that is 16 and is CP. Kevin's hip has some deformities which his doctor does not feel he can hope to put the ball back into the socket sucessfully. So the option that the doctor has given us is taking the ball of the socket off. So the doctor tells us when we feel his hip pain is interfering with his quality of life this is surgery that might help relieve the pain. But we want know for several months whether the surgery will help. If there is anyone that has gone though this it would be great to hear from you. Thanks
