My daughter is 6 yrs old and only 34 pounds. She has always been small. For the last few years she has gotten sick very easy. The Doctor always says she has a virus. He never does any tests and never gives her any meds. She coughs her head off vomits from coughing and goes off food. But its always the same. The Doc says its a virus, nothing to worry about. Since my daughter started first grade, she has had this cough that isn't too bad during the day but at night it is terrible. I talk to the doc and its the same thing...No need to bring her in she has a virus. Well lately she is tired all the time, looks pale(she is very fair anyway) but still pale. She also tells the teacher that she is hungry after 3pm so the teacher asked me to put a snack in her bookbag. I guess I am hear to see if anyone is going through the same thing and what I should do. Does she sound anemic(sp)? I just started her on multivitamins since she hasn't been eating good. I am worried and will take her to another Doctor as soon as I can find one. I live in a very strange town with very few "Good" Doctors! Any suggestions would be great. I am a EMT so I am aware of certain things but this is my first daughter. Thanks, Raven
