Hi Lori, I've had many many strep throats and so have my children. Try changing antibiotic if one doesn't work, also throw out all tooth brushes. Be sure to wash all door handles and the phones with alcohol. Don't give up I know it is hard when our kids keep getting strep, my son did that years ago, he had it so much that they wanted to take out his tonsils but I said no, because I had heard that when tonsils are removed it increases the chance of getting cancer in the throat areas. The doctors tried another antibiotic and it finally went away. I remember having strep throat a lot when I was a child and I "outgrew" it and it appears that my son has too, he's now a teenager and seldom gets it. Take Care, Teri
