MY 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH HIGH CHOLESTEROL (240+). SHE IS AN EXTREMELY HEALTHY EATER---LOVES VEGETABLES. WE DON'T EAT RED MEAT AND VERY FEW DAIRY PRODUCTS. MY DAUGHTER IS THIN FOR HER AGE AND HEIGHT. LATELY OUR HAIRDRESSER COMMENTED THAT HER HAIR LOOKS VERY UNHEALTHY AND MAYBE SHE IS LACKING VITAMINS. WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR DAUGHTER. IS THERE SOME UNDERLYING CAUSE OF THE HIGH CHOLESTEROL? MY HUSBAND AND I DO NOT HAVE WEIGHT PROBLEMS OR CHOLESTEROL PROBLEMS.
