It would be helpful if I can give her a little more specific idea of what will happen. Sorry this was long and thank you in advance for all your help.

I would definately find out everything that the doctor will do (if possible) and prep her so that she knows what will happen. Talk to her about your experiences and do not say that a procedure will not be uncomfortable if you know it will (like a pap smear). Maybe bribery would help - all of the above works for my kids. At least it aleviates some of the anxiety.
