: : My name is M.Barrell, and as a parent I have concerns regarding my childs health. My daughter has two cavities that need imediate attention. She is five years old and is very uncomfortable with Dentists poking around her mouth.(Just a normal stage?). Because she is apprehensive and clearly does not want the dentist to do anything,Our dentist has recommended that we put her under(gas) so that the work can be done. I'm having a tough time with this ishue. Is this Safe? Is it the right method under these circumstances? Please respond. Thank-you. M.barrell

: Hi, My nephew had baby bottle mouth, meaning his four front teeth all had cavaties and he was put to sleep and they pulled all four and put a bridge in. Its wired to his side teeth. He was only two years old when they did this. He's now three and he is fine. My son will have to go through the same thing soon. He freaks out! He wont even let the dentist look!!02/15/00. Thank-you to all who answered my concerns. I have really looked into this and as well as your comments, has eased some of the anxiety. Thanks to all.
