: I have a 3-yr-old child who acquired RHS from a secondary infection of the chicken pox virus. My mission is to boost his immune system and maintain a more healthy diet for him, in order to reduce the risk of this recurring. I know that a children's vitamin with echinacea is available and I am wondering if this is good to use on a daily basis or just on an "as-needed" basis. Any help will be appreciated.
I belive in a good multi-vitiman however I have heard that echinacea should be used sparingly. A friend uses echinacea drops in her daughters juice during cold season and she always seems to be well. Ask your doctor what they think. I would be interested in information too as my children seem to catch everything.
