: I have already called and made a dentists appointment, but i was wondering if anybody knew what was invovled in fixing it, they are growing in behind is front bottom teeth. I know the dentist will tell me, but it's worrying me. He's terrified of the dentist (he's never been for that reason). I'm pretty sure he'll have to have some teeth pulled, but can they put him to sleep for that? If anybody has experienced this with their child can you tell me what it was like for you and the child.
: thanks

Don't worry. We have a son who is also six years old with the same problem. Each one of his permenment teeth has come in before he shed the baby teeth. The adult teeth eventullay push forward into their correct places. Your dentist will more than likely take a wait and see approach. If he thinks the baby teeth are taking to long to fall out he will recomend pulling the baby teeth. Also, today my husband took our son for his 6 year old phsycial and was told by the peditrican that early permenment teeth is sometimes a sympton of early puberty in boys. If your six year old is a boy you may want to check this with your pediatrician.
