It sounds like a fracture involving her growth plate. She needs to see an orthopedic doctor.

: My daughter hurt her ankle so I took her to the doctors they took an x-ray. and told me that it was sprained. but then on monday they called and told me that she has a growth seperation. and I have no idea what that is. So we went to our family doctor and he put her in a walker boot. but it has not helped, because she is still swollen. if any one knows what that is Please let me know.
