You didn't mention your age. Hypothyroidism and Menopause symptoms are very similar. Change Doctors. Go to Mary Shoman's web site on The thyroid home page. She has a list of Dr.s for your area (hopefully) that have a clue about hormones, thyroid in particular. You need a TSH, Free T3 and Free T4 test for thyroid. Don't let them tell you it is "normal" Get the numbers. Women do best with a TSH between 1and2. Free T3 should be 4-4.2. There is a great thyroid board here. Use it too. Good luck.

: headaches that are different from the kind you usually get,or headaches that make your whole head hurt-YES
: confusion-YES
: trouble thinking and concentrating-YES
: forgetfulness-YES
: feeling very tired for more than 24 hours after exercise that didn't bother you before-NO
: trouble sleeping-YES
: I Also Still Doze Off After 12-14 Hours Of Sleep,Difficulty Getting To Sleep And Maintaining,My Brain Feels Wide Awake,Dreaming All Night Long,Unrefreshed Feeling After Sleep,Achy And Stiff Joints,And Mentally Foggy.
