: :Mary Shoman's site on about.com has tons and tons of information. http//thyroid.about.com. There is a pretty good thyroid board on this site too. Good luck. jackie Those can be symptoms of a thyroid problem too. See my posts below about thyroid and check the thyroid site here for more information. Jackie : : : Ihave had CFS for three years and been following a course of supplements and probiotics (laktoferrin, bioacidophilus and simalese). But during the last six months my health has really significantly worsened. The main symptoms are: : : : -intense burning sensations across chest : : : -constant nasal congestion;dry, burning irritation around eyes, nose, mouth : : : - frequent bouts of clamminess and feeling `sick all over` : : : - intense spells of drowsines : : : - bleeding gums : : : - bloating, wind, constipation : : : My doctor has agreed to a formal review of treatment but I am lost as to what to request. I would really be very grateful for any advice from people with more experience/knowledge of CFS. : Jackie : Thanks very much for your advice - it`s always good to know someone is reading your messages! I had thought about thyroid problems and I will check out the links. Any racommendations as to the best net site for thyroid information?
