It sounds like CFS but being a
syndrome means the symptoms can vary from
person to person ......
it seems the diagnosis CFS is given to fatigue
baswd ailments when
they can find
no other
obvious cause----depression and panic attacks
are common symptoms...but some people have CFS and don't have depression; and conversely, some
have depression who don't have CFS.
It is still a very grey area of illness

Anti depressants can help a wide raft of symptoms :
depression;muscle pain;severe sleep disorder....this will all
help but they do not seem to
impact directly on CFS:
...if anyone knew the answer towards a diagnosis and a cure it would be
nobel prize stuff.....

good luck!!!

nigel: I was diagnosed in 1994 with Panic attacks and depression. I am 27 and from the beginning I have had fatigue, dry mouth, tense muscles, shortness of breath etc., which are all anxiety symptoms. What is strange is that I have had other symptoms like a low fever or 99.6-99.8, severe fatigue, abnormal CBC (low eosinophils, low lymphocytes and high neutrophils), recurrent yeast infections, etc. I do have a high level of stress also. Can stress cause a constant fever?

: I have also normal chest x-ray, thyroid test, Head MRI, upper endoscopy, PAP test.

: Could anxiety cause abnormal blood tests/fever etc. or does this sound like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?
