I have had Epstein Barr/CFS for years now and what helps me best is limiting all physical activity and making rest a top priority. For example, I never overload a day with a lot of activities- I will end up in bed for a few days after and it's not worth it. If I want to go shopping on a Saturday, I make sure it is brief. Gone are the days when I would go to the mall for a few hours, then go out to dinner, and then a movie. My body cannot handle that. Hope this helps you some.
