: I was diagnosed with the epstein bar virus in March of 2000. I had severe like flu symptons at first and then couldn't get out of bed for three months. Now it's December and feel a lot better than when I first was diagnosed with it, but still lacking a lot of energy. I have all I can do to do small errands. I am taking a high dose of vitamin C.
: My question is how long does it take to get back to "normal?" I know it can take up to five years, but what is the average? My life has been a nightmare. Allergic to medications, anxiety attacks at least once a day, spaced-out feeling, constantly going to the doctors for tiny ailments, dizzy, and constantly getting sinus problems (head congestion mostly with coughing).
: Is there anyone who has had the ebv and got better from it. And how long did it take to recover and your methods of healing.
: Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
: Waiting to get better,
I don't know if you want to hear this, but I have ebv for over 2 years, I am now going thru a bad patch again, the doctor has told me that because I have only had 1 negative test in over 2 years that it is now chronic fatigue. I have to tell you that it can be quiet crippling, as you well know. my doctor also told me that once you have had it you never really get rid of it, I don't know how true this is but I know that for some people it can take a very long time. my only suggestion is to keep taking vitamins in high doses. I have also heard that collodial silver is very good. you might want to read about it on the internet to see what you think. I am thinking of trying this next. good luck and I know how you feel.
