I just recently went through a recent bout with what the doctor said was a minor sinus infection/common cold. It was accompanied by a couple of unusual symptoms. The most disconcerting of which was the inability to take deep breaths without some pain in my chest. This was also accompanied by a tightness in the chest that could temporarily be aleviated by streching my arms behind my back resulting in a "popping" in my sternum/breastbone area. This seems to have cleared up, but now I am experiencing what seem to be muscle soreness in my right hip area and right lower leg. It doesn't feel like a streched muscle in that the surface of the skin is sensative to touch. It seems to come and go. Am I crazy? Or is it possible to have a viral infection that could infect the muscles causing this sort of discomfort. If anyone has experiences this sort of thing, please let me know.
