It sounds to me like it might be bronchitis but that is accompanied by a loud "seal" like cough and a lot of congestion.
But it sounds to me more like you might have just a cold you need to explain more of your symtoms , because a cough can also be associated with allergies... I know this because I suffer from allergies constantly..
Just go to your docter if it continues and he will give you something that will help even if you are hypersensitive to cough syrums.
