: During the afternoon, I felt something but couldn't really pin point what was going on. By the evening,
: I started to feel really tired and kinda like coming down with the cold. By night, I was in two heavy
: blankets, sweater and sweat pants. Needless to say, the morning was severly worse. I had to go to
: an urgent care facility. They first diagnosed it as Laryngitis. Taking prescriptions and two days later,
: I was still feeling the same, if not worse! So, they referred me to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist.
: She gave me a stronger prescription. Its been two days and I still feel like crap. Not to mention that
: I have lost 4 days of work. I am in pain and it seems like this thing wont go away. Oh yeah, did I
: mention I CANT SWALLOW ANYTHING!? Also, drooling on my pillow case every nite, yuck! Can
: someone help.

: I have tried gargling in warm salt water and taking warm showers to hauk up all flem stuff -- double yuck!

Dear George:
If you think it is a cold I think that you are to the point that you have to let the cold take is course, keep warm, force fulids, lots of rest, chicken soup, (old jewish medicine) what would help me with a very bad sore throat, boil 1 cup of milk, add 1pat of butter (real) one heaping tablespoon of honey, mix well sip as hot as you can. The next time you feel a sore throat comming on, gargle with a food grade h2 o2 mix with water, don't know the % ask in the health food store where you buy it, take care.
