I too have had a very dry unproductive cough for about 4 months......If you find any information, I would be appreciative of any information. My chest x-ray has been clear, I just had pulmonary function tests but have not gotten the results yet....I also have severe limb itching, and blood work has been off--platelett count especially has been mildly decreased. The doctors are rubbing their heads.. My Mom has recently started coughing excessively, but this is a dry cough and has very little mucus associated with it. It is very persistent( I mean continuous, whole day). This has never happened before to her before.
: Anyone out there with something similar? and possible remedy?.
