It is now late September 2000. I have never completely recovered from my initial illness. It got worse in January 2000 with the spacyness and head ringing, facial pain, lack of concetration. I ended up going to a Neurologist who thought it might be Neuralgia.. He put me on Topomax (an anti-convulsant) which made things seem really weird.. on that Topomax my whole head was tingling along with my left arm and I had the worse tinnitus I've ever had especially in my left ear. Since then I've tried other anti-convulsants (Keppar and Klonopin) with no help whatsoever. I belive the Klonopin helps me sleep better. As the months went by the symptoms lessend and now I have tinittus in my left ear and a still some facial pain (pushing pulling of the roots of the teeth and general facial tension).. but nowhere near as bad as it was back in December 99 and January of 2000 with the lack of concentration, bad foggy sensation, and spacyness. It's sometimes hard to get up for work.. and I miss fealing healthy.. all I can do know is hope to get fully recovered with whatever is attacking me or if the symptoms worsen again go to the Neurologist and get more tests done to see if they can figure out what is wrong with me. I believe it's either a virus, nervous system disorder, or immune system disorder since this all started with just a simple cold. I don't think it was stress related at all since I was under no stress when the symptoms hit. I'm in a wait and see mode now.
