My soar throat!! :-(

My throat has been extremely soar for the last couple of days! I've never had this problem in such a severity, and for TWO DAYS! I feel like shooting myself to relieve this hellish pain! I was wondering if anyone out there can give me any insite on this; I know it can't be the typical common cold strain. This feels worse!!! Please help if you have any idea what the hell I am suffering with. My other symptoms are fatigue a slight headache (without congestion), and a slight cough that exasperate my soar throat. Thanks!!
