: Results are subjective. Some results are possible by surgery, some are not. Many times when things go wrong it is because the surgeon failed to take into account that his procedure may correct a particular defect for the patient, but the same procedure may cause new problems which the patient finds more eggregious than the problem she initially went into correct. The only advice I can give you is from my own experience: If you have a minor defect, don't bother with it. You may end up with worse problems than you went into the surgery with.

I totally agree with Debi-if is not that bad-LEAVE IT ALONE.

I too researched my rhinoplasty and read these message boards before surgery but went ahead anyway and every day I regret my decision and would give anything to have my old nose back.

I disregarded unhappy messages thinking "they must have had bad surgeons etc.," well I had the best and my nose looks worse than what I had.

My advice-if it isn't that bad-DON'T DO IT-I wish I had listened!
