And Carrie and Debi did you do your surgery in the UK? I m British myself but have had all my stuff done abroad in US and Australia as I could not find a surgeon that I trusted in Uk. It seems the standards are much higher in areas where a lot of surgery is performed eg. California, New York etc.

Thanks for that Karine. I must admit, there is definitely room for improvement. I have been told I look like Barbara Streisand (no offence Barbara!) and that my nose has a lot of character. This makes me really miserable. But what frustrates me the most is that I have seen (what I think) are some good results. Is it just that the standard of surgery in this country is very poor? What do you do to find a good surgeon? From what I've heard, not even BAAPS surgeons are to be trusted. I've really been put off having rhinoplasty. I wonder if the standards are any better in the US?
