Hi Rita, wow, things are getting kind of wild on this board! Anyway, no, Dr. E did my primary rhinoplasty and I am very happy with it. If you scroll down to my post way below in the thread titled "Ellenbogen", you'll see more about why I chose him after eight years of consultations, but one of the many reasons was because he was good at revisions. I was sooo paranoid that even though I was thoroughly convinced that he was very talented, I thought I'd be the one nose that he'd mess up, and I wanted him to be capable to revise it if so!

Unfortunately I don't know any one personally that has had a revision by him, except that there are two women working in his office whose noses he has revised. One had a pretty ugly/fake primary rhinoplasty (different doctor, obviously): big nostrils, little scooped out bridge (she has photos), and Dr. E turned it into a VERY nice and totally natural looking nose. The other woman had a not-too-bad nose job that just needed some tweaking, and it looks great now. If you go for a consult, you'll be able to see and talk to them. Obviously, some people will say "Oh, but they work for him so that's suspicious", or whatever. I say, hey, good luck finding any other revised nose by ANY doctor that you can see in person. It's virtually impossible, so it's better to see these two than to see no one.

There is also a woman who works down the hall in his building who had her nose done/redone seven times by other docs, and Dr. E did the last time. Her nose looks quite good and very natural, although I didn't see any pics of how it looked before. She seems pleased with it, and seemed to think he did the best with what he had to work with. I don't know if she would rave about him, but she doesn't really seem to be the raving type anyway, LOL!

Have you seen the revisions on his website, www.beverlyhillsbody.com? Ellenbogen, and I believe Dr. Denenberg are the only revision doctors I've seen that have more than one or two revision photos on their websites (I keep looking for sites, if anyone knows of any). He has quite a few more in his office. I'm really curious about this guy Rohrick in Texas that he supposedly recommended, but couldn't come up with anything when I searched his name.

I've seen a very interesting article about revision rhinoplasty and the "deformities commonly found in revision rhinoplasty". I can't tell how old it is, and it's kind of like reading a foreign language because of all the medical lingo, but here's the link:

http://personal.anderson.ucla.edu/michael.silberberg.2001/RevRhino.htm

It's written by two doctors from the Lasky Clinic in L.A. Although I don't know anyone who's used them for anything, I hear the Lasky Clinic does many of the rich and famous who needed very stealth (i.e., undetectable) plastic surgery (hey, don't we all?!). At the end of the article are references from other articles written by various revision doctors (some of whom you've probably read, um, interesting things about on this board). Maybe the names and/or info in the article can lead you somewhere.

Anyway, good luck to you, and let me know if you have any more questions. :)
