: Regarding the chin implant: I have one, and to be honest, I didn't think I needed it! The good thing about facial implants is you can always have them removed.
: It depends on how weak your chin is. It actually looks nice from the side; it gives you a nearly "perfect" chin. The only complaint I have is that, since it is an elongated implant, I think it makes me face look too round and full around the jaw from the front.
: Also, there is quite a bit of "discomfort" after the surgery. My lips swelled up a LOT, and it was hard to eat. The pressure is considerable for the first week or so, but they will give you painkillers. It also numbs your mouth for some time; I still don't have 100% feeling in my lower lip and it's been almost two years. A doctor I consulted said that might not ever come back, even if I do remove it. I also have a small scar, since they had to place it externally.
: So unless YOU really think you need it, maybe it's better not to.
I too had a chin implant along with a rhinoplasty 11 months ago. I love it. I had no problems with anything. My only complaint is it takes a long time for the nose to heal. It is still hard 11 months later. Good Luck.
