Yes, you should. I had a messed up geneoplasty (all I needed was a small implant because my chin was too flat, it was not long but I chose the wrong doctor). I have extensive nerve damage in the chin and lower lip. It has gotten worse with each corrective surgery that I have had. My chin feels dead now, it's numb all the time and my lower lip rolls in making the chin look even worse. Maybe you should just have collagen in your lower lip instead of chin surgery, it's way too involved. or maybe it's your cheeks that are too flat or teeth have an underbite, making the chin look like it sticks out too much. I'd leave it alone!
: I would really like to have a chin reduction, not due to the length of my face, but due to the fact that my chin protrudes forward well beyond my lip line. Has anyone ever undergone a chin reduction? Should I be fearful of osteomalacia or nerve damage?
