: : Would really like to find out it anyone has had this correction done and what we're your results? I'm getting ready to make an appointment and would like to find out any problems before hand! Any information would help,Thanks for reading......

: I had one inverted nipple, the other is normal. I had the inverted one corrected in 1993. The doctor gave me a choice of "stretching" the fibers that hold it in, or cutting them. I chose to have them stretched in an attempt to preserve sensation. I did, however, lose sensation, which he had said was possible anyway. Just this year I have been considering having the nipple corrected again, as it re-inverted. I will have the fibers cut, the doctor assured me that this way is definitely permanent. Any other questions, feel free to post them.

Thanks for the info, my doctor never said anything about stretching just that she would reinforce under the nipples to keep them from re-inverting.the main side effect she mentions is of course I couldn't breastfeed (but that wasn't a concern)after yours was done what were your side effects...(time down, soreness,or pain?)but most of all did you feel it was worth having it corrected??
thanks for answering !!
