I am trying to send this message out to all posts on this board to help educate people like yourself. There are only a hand-full of doctors that are truely qualified to handle what you are looking for. I know because I have had revision rhinoplasty and my outcome is awesome. Trust me, I did many many years of research before I made the decision. The two masters of Rhinoplasty are located in Chicago, Dr. Eugene Tardy and Dr. Dean Toriumi. Dr Tardy is semi-retired now and Dr. Toriumi has mastered the art of open Rhinoplasty for revision. They both have the same philosophy of preservation and conservatism rather that massive excision however, they have different approaches. Dr. Toriumi performs most of his Rhinoplasty proceedures via the open approach which is, what I had done and in my opinion, the best way to correct primary rhinoplasty that has gone bad and in need of cartilage grafts and extensive reconstruction. Because of my geographic location, Chicago was a bit to far to travel so my research helped me come accross Dr. Daniel G. Becker at the University of Pennsylvania who was trained by both Tardy and Toriumi and is their protege. He has mastered both the open(external) and closed (endonasal) method of rhinoplasty for both primary and reconstructive rhinoplasty and has changed my life. Dr. Becker is the man, he is, in my opinion, a true master.
