LM - Hope things are going well for you. I'm going into my 10th week and still have swelling and tightness especially in front of my ears - and the muscles are constricting all the time. Sometimes I can hardly open wide enough to eat. You may or may not experience these things, but if you do, be aware that they are normal. I panicked and went to my ps one day when the muscles in my cheeks were constricting so it scared me. He said that the nerves just go haywire sometimes during the healing process and that it would take time. I guess I wasn't quite prepared for the long-term discomfort - but this, too will pass. My neck is still lumpy and uneven too. I guess they are right when they say we won't really get the final results for at least six months - maybe one full year. Take care.
: Thank you very much for your feedback. It provided much relief. The swelling does seem to be improving, but you're right, this is going to take time. I will continue to sleep with my head elevated. Thank you for the tip.
