You seem to know what your talking about and have done your research, so im assuming you've exhausted every opportunity of having surgery in the UK? Having it in the states is going to be a lot more complicated - especially in relation to after care and follow ups. It may necesitate you staying up to at least 3 months after the surgery or having to come back if there are difficulties.

Have you got anyone qualified to talk about this? In relation to the surgeons that you mentioned, alot of them pop up on this board regularly. You really do need to have consultations with all of them, they all have different techniques and i doubt it any of them will say the same thing - i can't stress how important it is not to take peoples word for it. It is incredibly difficult to pick from the surgeons that you have listed - i wish you good luck. Don't enter any decision on a whim. I wish i could be of more help, but keep checking the boards, i'm sure somebody will be able to assist you in your search.

I'm intrigued as to the merits of your claims regarding Pitanguay. Where did you here about him? Has anyone got information on him. Is he retired? How can a person get in contact with him?

Keep me informed as to what you decide.

Also that he is apparently the best rhino surgeon in the world. I think I heard that on this board actually. Try scrolling down. You didn't mention Pastorek on your list, but I see Michele does. What do you think of him? Thanks again for sharing your hard work with us.
