My doctor (not a plastic surgeon) told me today that the stomach is hardened by a layer of scar tissue after a tummy tuck. He said my abdomen will feel un-naturally hard and tight after a tummy tuck. He also said it could cause problems later if I needed any type of abdominal surgery - that it would be hard for a surgeon to "cut through" all the adhesions. Does anyone have any input on this? I'm considering having a tummy tuck in the next few months. Does your tummy "soften" up after a while and take on a more natural appearance? My thanks in advance for your response.
