I am planning to get a tummy tuck. I do not think I need a full tummy tuck after reading on the web. I would like a mini tummy tuck. I have 3 beautiful children. Most of my problem is the stretch marks below my belly button and a pouch in the very middle of my lower abdominal section. I did not want the scar of the full tummy tuck from hip to hip.

I know the average costs for a tummy tuck is about $4,000 - what about a mini tummy tuck - is the same cost? I am also searching for a good plastic surgeon and will travel for the right surgeon and price. Has anyone ever heard of getting this done by a resident under the assistance of a board certified plastic surgeon? I hear the costs are less.

Thanks. Nini
