Thank you for your reply.
I don't suffer from an over active thyroid or graves disease. I've just always had protruding eyes.
: : Hi everyone
: : I am a Multimedia Specialist living just outside of Toronto, Canada. For the last few years I have been considering cosmetic surgery. My problem is that my eyes protrude, sometimes referred as 'bug eye'. I have been wearing eye glasses for over 15 years to help conceal my eye's and have been avoiding removing them in public. After a while it gets pretty tiring hearing people comment on how they protrude. Is there a procedure to raise the eyebrow ridge as you would with cheek implants?
: : I'm hoping to live life without hiding behind a pair of eyeglasses so any information would be greatly appreciated.
: : Thank you
: Do you have thyroid or graves disease? sometimes this causes your eyes to protude. Be careful - dont do anything if you are not in any medical emergency. you only are allowed to have one pair of eyes in this lifetime.
